Tala Chammas

Tala Chammas is the former Research Project Officer with CARE International Lebanon where she worked with the Lebanon team on implementing Empowered Aid. Tala also served as the project officer leading the Call to Action Field Implementation project in Lebanon, working with Women Lead Organizations on GBV technical capacity strengthening. Previously, Tala was an Information Management Intern with UN-OCHA in Geneva working on humanitarian & secondary data reports for COVID-19. She has a degree in Psychology and a minor in Political Science from the American University in Beirut. She is an avid volunteer in her local community and has previously volunteered in Sri Lanka as part of a mentorship program for vulnerable women and girls.
