Anusha Tamhane is a Research Intern at the Global Women's Institute, assisting with the Empowered Aid project. She is in her first year of the Master's of International Affairs program at the Elliott School at George Washington University. In her studies, Anusha is specializing in Global Environmental and Energy policy, and is interested in how policies surrounding climate change and environmental regulation/mitigation/adaptation can be made to address the disproportionate effects faced by women and other marginalized communities, especially in the Global South.
