Amelia is a research consultant who worked with the Empowered Aid project from 2019 - 2021, supporting the research teams in Lebanon and Uganda. She has over 10 years of experience in research and program management in humanitarian and low-resource settings, and a focus on sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, and equitable economic empowerment. Amelia has spent the majority of her career working in the Middle East, and holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Yale School of Public Health (2013). Most recently, Amelia served as Research Advisor for International Medical Corps’ Technical Unit for two years, providing technical guidance and oversight for health and nutrition research projects globally.
